St Michael's is a historic church and home to a lively and friendly group of Christians of all ages.
Visitors are always welcome at our main service at St.Michael's at 10.30am every Sunday morning. Our style of service typically combines contemporary and traditional elements, and aims to be accessible and welcoming to all. The music chosen for worship includes a mix of the best of traditional hymns and present day songs.
As well as Sunday morning at 10.30am we have a service in the evening at 6.30pm every Sunday (except duing August - when there is a morning service only).
We are fortunate that a wide cross section of the community are regular members of our fellowship and worshippers on Sundays. In the morning service it is common for there to be 70 adults and 10 children at St.Michael's, and in the evening 20 adults.
Refreshments are served after the morning service and worshippers are encouraged to stay and enjoy fellowship together.
Youngsters and families are warmly welcomed to worship on Sundays. There is a creche in the church for the very young, and older children are either included in the service in church, or enjoy getting together every other Sunday at their Junior Church meeting nearby in the Madeley Rest Room.
Fellowship & Church Life
We hold an annual Gift Day for the support we provide to the four charities, Christian Aid, The Bible Society, Crosslinks and the Church Pastoral Aid Society. In addition groups within the church hold fund raising events for specific needs.
