The JAM group takes place once a month following Family Worship the second week before. This means that when we have Family Worship everyone stays together and joins in with songs and sometimes actions, then two weeks later during a service of Holy Communion, there will be an opportunity for children to withdraw into the vestry under supervision of adults who have been DBS checked.  We will be using the same readings that grown ups will be listening to in church to guide us in our creative activities, then we will return into church and share what we have been doing.  Please check with 'Service Diary' to see when these services will take place.                                     Services start at 11:00am in St. Luke's Church, Ironbridge on the second Sunday each month for Family Worship and fourth Sunday for Communion/JAM

Parents and carers can be assured that safeguarding arrangements are in place.

A service of Holy Communion and JAM was held on 24th September 2023   The reading was 1Peter 4:7-11, in which Peter talked about stewardship.  He said; 'Whatever gift each of you may have received, use it in service to one another, like good stewards.'  The Jesus and Me group drew around their own helping hands, then coloured and decorated them.    As they did this, the children thought about how they may serve and help each other.   The hymn chosen was 'He's got the whole world in His hands.'

A fantastic activity enjoyed by the JAM group at our Service of Remembrance in St. Lukes.

Here are colourful poppys and names of the fallen during World Wars.    WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

Mothering Sunday gave the children the opportunity of making a Mother's Day Card and to help present congregation members with a small posy of flowers as an appreciation of all they do.  Many thanks to all who contributed towards providing the flowers, lighting a candle at the beginning of the service and reading from scripture.   The reading chosen was 'Mary's Song' Luke 1.  Especially a BIG THANK YOU to our organist who played the piano as the organ had gone on strike!
