The JAM group takes place once a month following Family Worship the second week before. This means that when we have Family Worship everyone stays together and joins in with songs and sometimes actions, then two weeks later during a service of Holy Communion, there will be an opportunity for children to withdraw into the vestry under supervision of adults who have been DBS checked.  We will be using the same readings that grown ups will be listening to in church to guide us in our creative activities, then we will return into church and share what we have been doing.  Please check with 'Service Diary' to see when these services will take place.                                     Services start at 11:00am in St. Luke's Church, Ironbridge

Parents and carers can be assured that safeguarding arrangements are in place.

A service of Holy Communion and JAM this sunday is on 24th September and will be lead by Rev. Ernest Okeke.   The reading will be 1Peter 4:7-11, in which Peter talks about stewardship.  He says; 'Whatever gift each of you may have received, use it in service to one another, like good stewards.'  The Jesus and Me group will be drawing around their own helping hands and colouring and decorating them.    As they do this, the children will think about how they may serve and help each other.   The hymn they have chosen is 'He's got the whole world in His hands.'

We would also like to say that the All Ages Service at school last Sunday afternoon, which was about Forgiveness, was an enjoyable event.   Thanks are due to Mr. Wheeler for helping to set up and welcome people.  Also thanks to Mrs. Clements for taking part in the story about Joseph forgiving his brothers.

We llook forward to sharing more details soon about our next All Ages Service in due course.

A fantastic activity enjoyed by the JAM group at our Service of Remembrance in St. Lukes on the 13th November 2022

Here are colourful poppys and names of the fallen during World Wars.    WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
